Our fabric dye comes from Viktoria Boya. This fabric dye has been produced in Istanbul since 1901 and has been the best selling fabric dye in Turkey for many years.
Due to years of product development, the dye is unmatched in the color adhesion on your fabrics. Our products are not harmful to the environment and safe to use.
Also use Aybel Fiske to fix the colors
Sunlight and frequent washing make your colors fade. For the best protection of your colors use Aybel Fiske. After washing or dyeing, Aybel Fiske is added to the last rinsing water. New trousers, shirts and other fabrics will remain beautiful for longer.
Aybel Fiske is the ideal supplement for your self-dyed fabrics.
Tips for dyeing your fabrics:
If you want your darker pieces to take on a lighter color, you should bleach the pieces first. For example with a dash of bleach dissolved in water.
Check the label of your clothing for the maximum washing temperature of the fabric. Dye your fabrics on the highest permitted temperature according to the label. Cotton can be washed hot. For wool and silk it is best to use lukewarm water (up to 30 degrees) to prevent shrinkage and damage.
A sachet of fabric dye is enough for approx. 250 grams of fabric. For dyeing larger quantities you can add several sachets of fabric dye.
For lighter colors than it is indicated on the packaging you can use less fabric dye. Less fabric dye gives a lighter color.
For dyeing wool, nylon (polyamide) and silk, you can add salt and a dash of vinegar during dyeing. These substances often remain too light if the water is not acidic enough.
Because the acidity and hardness of the tap water is not the same everywhere, we advise to test first, how the colors will work out.
Do not use the fabric dye for polyester and fabrics with water-repellent coatings.
